14. Duties to be discharged and functions to be performed by the Inspector

The Inspector or Veterinary Surgeon having jurisdiction over the notified area or any portion thereof shall cause a gist of such notification to be published in the villages in such area or portion as the case may be by beat of Tom-Tom. As soon as the Veterinary Surgeon or Inspector visits a village he shall cause the time at which and the place where the inoculation will be conducted by giving publicity in the village. Every person in the village who has in his possession or under his charge any animal shall produce the same before the Veterinary Surgeon or Inspector for inoculation at the time and place fixed by the Inspector.
