Section 12

If while executing the order, any unauthorised occupant offers resistance or obstruction to the removal of encroachment, the Collector shall summarily enquire into the matter and if he is satisfied that there is resistance or obstruction may issue a warrant in Form 'D' appended to these rules, for the arrest and production before him of such person. On such production the Collector shall hold a further summary enquiry under Section 11 (2) of the Act and commit him to the Civil Jail, if found necessary.
