A person shall not be deemed to have any interest, for the purposes of clause (g) of sub-section (1) of section 90 or clause (f) of section 91, in a subsisting contract made with or a work being done for the concerned Municipality by reason of only having share or interest in the following cases
- any sale, purchase or lease of an immovable property or entering into any contract for the same ; or
- the sale of any article or articles one ordinarily sells to a Authority or the purchase from the Municipality of any article or articles in case the aggregate value of the trade with the Municipality in an year during the period of contract does not exceed ten thousand rupees; or
- undertaking any contribution work in the Municipality for the benefit of the community, not as a contractor, but as a representative of the community of as sponsor ; or
- taking over a building or shop room of the Municipality for commercial purposes on rent or lease.
