- Where the holder of a license has been convicted of an offence under S. 10 of this Act or under S. 7 of the Cinematograph Act, 1952
or under 1[Section 10 of the Kerala Local Authorities Entertainment's Tax Act, 1961 (20 of 1961)], the license may be revoked by the licensing authority by an order in writing.
- Where the holder of a license has been convicted of an offence mentioned in sub-section (1) and the license has not been revoked by the licensing authority, the District Collector may call for and examine the record of any proceeding taken under that Sub-section, call for any report in connection therewith and may pass such order in reference thereto as he thinks fit.
Provided that no order shall be passed under this sub-section without giving an opportunity to show cause to the party who may be affected by the order.
